I have always been passionate about creative expression and this is what drove me to achieve a Bachelor of Arts degree in design. The journey from a blank canvas to a work of art or a sheet of metal to a three dimensional sculpture had always fascinated me and I wanted a career that enabled me to do that.
Inspired by a passion for style and glamour, I started experimenting with different hairstyles on myself looking at fashion magazines, catwalk shows, television and film for inspiration. After getting positive feedback on my own styles I was asked to do other people's hair. Being self-taught, people were impressed with the unique, statement styles that I could create. This encouraged me to seek a professional qualification in both make-up and hairstyling.
I trained at Zens Bridal Academy in Birmingham, exceeding expectations in both Asian and English bridal hairstyling and make-up artistry. This enabled me to create a look that turns heads. As well as working freelance, I have experience in the retail hair industry, working with an extensive collection of wigs, hairpieces and extensions that have been created by passionate designers with ease of use in mind, allowing hairstylists to easily create amazing hairstyles. Working in this industry gives me access to the latest in hairpiece and extension design technology.
